Is Kim Chiu ready to do sexier scenes?
by Fionna Acaba ( ABS-CBN.com ) 01.29.10Kim Chiu feels overwhelmed with the success of her and Gerald Anderson’s movie Paano Na Kaya. The movie hit ten million pesos on its first day. "Sobrang masaya kami kasi sabi andami daw tao sa mga sinehan, sa Cebu sabi ng kuya ko andami din daw tao tsaka nagsisigawan so parang ang sarap ng feeling kasi yung pinaghirapan namin nabigyan ng pansin kaya sobrang gaan ng feeling."
When Kim Chiu was asked what was the part of the film she can relate to the most in real life she said, "Nung una kaming nag-meet sa PBB (Pinoy Big Brother), medyo masungit ako sa kanya kasi (ang tingin ko sa kanya) ang sungit sungit, amboy-amboy (American boy), ang yabang kaya ayun, ang parang parehas sila noon ng character niya sa movie."
While they are still celebrating the success of Paano Na Kaya, they are already asked to do two more movies under Star Cinema. Kim and Gerald signed respective contracts yesterday, January 28. "Masaya kami dahil malakas pa rin yung tiwala ng Star Cinema sa amin. Super excited kami (although) hindi pa po namin alam kung magkasama kami sa two movies na yun," Gerald said.
With that, Kim Chui was asked if she is ready to play more mature roles that would require intimate scenes and reveal more skin. "Depende kung papayag sila Mr M (Johnny Manahan) na ganun ka-daring yung movie pero (personally) actually sa ngayon hindi pa (ako ready), actually yung katawan ko hindi pa handa magpa-daring kailangan ko pa mag-gain ng weight para mas maganda siya tingnan," Kim said adding she aims to gain at least 10 lbs. this year. Kim says that she will just follow Star Cinema's lead if the film outfit would pair her with other Kapamilya stars in the two movies offered to her.
As for the real score between the two of them, Kim and Gerald could not escape from answering the question why they are still only friends. "Four years na kami magkasama (since Pinoy Big Brother Teen Edition), pero hindi kami nagmamadali," said Gerald. "Tsaka pag may away (kagaya ng) ibang love teams, hindi masyado nakakapagtrabaho ng maayos so parang ayaw namin (na mangyari yun) na maapektuhan yung personal life naminat work namin and mahal namin yung trabaho namin na mas importante sa amin kaysa love life."
OH NO! Not to reveal more skin. Kim can be a versatile actress without doing such kind of scenes. She doesn't have to be sexy and daring to achieve a best actress award. Please lang, let our Kim maintain a wholesome image to be a role model for the youth. Kahit na nga mag-asawa pa siya, I want kim to be wholesome, sexy but wholesome. Gerald, don't allow exploitation to both of you. FPJ and Susan Roces was King and Queen of Philippine Movies for decades and they never did a daring a sexy role. Leave the revealing skin to others, not for Kimerald, PLEASE!
Please naman, do not destroy Kim;s wholesome image. Kim, please, say no , if you are asked to bare more skin. You do not need to do that to draw the crowd, If you start it, at masanay ka diyan, to the point that a different Kim should emerge ( sensual, and sexy), that may spell the end of your good career. Mawawala ang endorsements mo. Kaya ka nandiyan dahil you are a model for wholesome values. Please Kimmy, do not ever think about it. Your kissing scene with Ge is something that I ,personally, do not like. Hindi naman kailangan iyon a. Magmumukha kang kawawa niyan, you are being exploited, kahit si Gerald pa iyan. Please preserve your pristine beauty. This is what we like about you. PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE. Huwag mo nang uulitin ang kissing scene na iyon, PLEASE.
PLEASE MAINTAIN KIMERALDS WHOLESOME IMAGE, THERE IS NO NEED FOR THEM TO GO DARING BECAUSE WE LOVE THEM AS THEY ARE.MY KIDS LOVE KIM AND WOULD NOT BE A GOOD ROLE MODEL IF SHE GOES SEXY. PLEASE THEY DONT NEED IT!
I agree with them. Just stay to be wholesome and pure Kim. It is much more better than to destroy your name and image. And besides, Gerald will be proud of you for maintaining to be as you are right now. Then not just that, God will also bless you and continue to shower His blessings to you. God bless.
KIM please remain your wholesome image, you don't need to show more of skin, we loved you for what you are. God will bless you more if your doing the right thing. We know that's your job, we will appreciate more if you will continue to be the role model of the youth. Seeing PNK, your really a versatile actress, with regards to your kissing scene,if its not needed avoid it. Its good, that GERALD is your partner,since he respect you a lot & in the future be your future partner in life, how about when it comes to other leading man in the future? Preserve your dignity and you will stay long in this business. Its all about fame and money, what is important you remain true to yourself as a decent girl and down to earth person.
