Kim Chiu wants "someone na maputi, matangkad," while Gerald Anderson goes for "someone who's beautiful but simple"

Each time we see Gerald Anderson and Kim Chiu together on television, kilig meter blinks instantly. For more than three years, the two have kept the people guessing about the real score. And in one way of another, myster works for them.

In an exlusive interview with ABS-CBN's hottest pair, love and relationships were tackled, except the burning question: Are they together.

Nonetheless, their answers could satisfy the Kimerald fans out there. Read on.

PEP: How would you define love?

Gerald: Love is a complicated feeling. Mahirap i-explain at i-express. But it's a feeling that money can't buy. Pag in-love ka, ikaw na ang pinakamasayang tao sa mundo.

Kim: Love can always put a smile on your face and makes you happy. Ito na ata ang pinakamasarap na feeling sa buong mundo.

PEP: When and how would you know that you're in love?

Gerald: Kapag hinahanap-hanap mo na ang taong mahal mo. Pag nasa isip mo siya lagi at gusto mong makita't makasama.

Kim: Kapag feeling mong masaya ka sa taong yun. Pag alam mong totoo na ang nararamdaman mo para sa kanya at kaya mo na yun ipagsigawan sa mundo.

PEP: To Gerald, describe your ideal girl?

Gerald: I want someone who's beautiful but simple. Hindi lang maganda physically. Dapat maganda rin ang ugali. Gusto ko mabait, down-to-earth, caring at masayahin.

PEP: On that note, who's your ideal girl and why?

Gerald: Definitely my mom. Iba talaga ang mother's love. At the end of the day, siya pa rin ang iintindi at magmamahal sa 'yo.

PEP: What about Kim, is she the ideal girl for you?

Gerald: (smiles) Of course, si Kim. Aside from my mom, siya rin ang isa sa ideal girls ko. Lahat ng traits ng sinabi ko kanina is also leading to her.

PEP: And Kim, what's your ideal guy? Who is he and why is he ideal for you?

Kim: Physically, I want someone na maputi, matangkad. Most importantly, I want someone who's caring, respectful at may sense of humor. Sino siya? I think si Gerald (giggles) kasi as of now siya yung nakikita kong may ganung trait at talagang pinapakita at pinapadama niya sa akin yun.

PEP: To Gerald, how do you court girls and to Kim, how do you treat your suitors?

Gerald: Gusto ko talagang makilala yung babaeng nililigawan ko. Gusto kong makasama at makipag-bonding sa kanya para makilala ko siya nang husto.

Kim: Gusto ko mag-effort talaga siya sa akin. Gusto ko tinatawagan at tini-text niya ako.

PEP: How would you describe the first time you fell in love?

Gerald: Secret. It's something in the past and I really don't want to bring back the memories kasi masakit yung naging experience.

Kim: Nagkaroon ako ng boyfriend nung high school. First year high school ako, siya naman nasa fourth year. Masaya yung feeling kasi fist time ko na nagka-boyfriend. Besides, minahal ko naman ang mokong na yun (laughs).

PEP: Was it a serious relationship? For how many years?

Kim: Testing stage yun on my part kasi first time ko nga na mag-engage into a relationship. I was fourteen ata nung magka-boyfriend ako. Di ko na maalala age ko (laughs). Sa akin, seryoso yun. Ewan ko lang sa part niya kung nagseryoso siya. Hindi nga tumagal ng six months yung relationship. Three months lang kami naging mag-jowa, e (laughs).

PEP: Was there a third party involved? How did the relationship end?

Kim: Oo, may third party na involved, DOTA [referring to the online game]. Adik sa DOTA ang mokong na yun, e (laughs). Mas minahal pa ata nun ang paglalaro ng DOTA kesa sa akin. Bukod dun, nababalitaan ko pang may ibang babae kaya ayun nakipaghiwalay na ako.

Ayun, iyak ako nang iyak. Siyempre, mahal ko pa rin siya pero kailangang hiwalayan ko na siya kasi mali yung ginawa niya. Tinatanong ko pa nga ang sarili ko nun, minahal ko naman siya nang totoo pero bakit ganun, nasaktan pa rin ako.

PEP: Do you still communicate with each other?

Kim: Oo, through Facebook. I received messages from him sa FB. Friends kami sa Facebook (smiles).

PEP: Did he try to win you back?

Kim: Oo, pero ayoko na. Tapos na yung kabanatang yun ng life ko kasi may iba na akong mahal (laughs).

PEP: Would that be Gerald?

Kim: Secret (laughs).

PEP: To Gerald, how painful was your last relationship?

Gerald: Masakit talaga on my part. I was high school 'ata. It was really painful. Imagine mo, ayaw sa 'yo, e, gusto mo, masakit yun. Sobrang sakit.

PEP: Do you still communicate with each other?

Gerald: None at all but I've been hearing some things about her through friends na rin.

PEP: Paano Na Kaya kung may iba na siyang minamahal?

Gerald: Mahirap, kasi hindi ako ang pinili. Masakit dahil may iba siyang gusto. Siyempre, gusto ko, ako sana ang piliin at mahalin niya.

Kim: Kung yun ang desisyon n'ya, gagalangin ko yun. Hindi naman kami kaya wala akong karapatan pero siyempre masasaktan ako. Aaminin ko, masakit yun.

PEP: Paano Na Kaya kung nagtapat siya sa 'yo ng pagmamahal?

Gerald: That's the best feeling in the world!

Kim: Kung nagtapat sa akin si Gerald? Di na ako ako magugulat kasi lagi niyang sinasabi sa akin yun—na mahal n'ya ako (smiles).
