Gerald, natsa-challenge sa pagiging safe ni Kim

Natutuwa si Gerald Anderson sa sobrang suportang ibinibigay ni Kris Aquino sa Kimerald loveteam.
As we all know, very vocal si Tetay na Kimerald siya kaya tinanggap niya ang Kung Tayo’y Magkakalayo teleserye kasama ang magka-loveteam.
“Hindi ko alam kung bakit, pero sobra akong thankful dahil sa support na binibigay niya sa amin ni Kim. And kung gaano katindi ’yung suporta niya sa amin, ganoon din ang ibibigay namin sa kanya,” pahayag ni Gerald.
Sobrang happy din ang young actor na nakasama nga nila si Kris sa bagong serye nila at napakaganda raw agad ng samahan nila.
“Sobrang nakakakaba kapag siya ’yung kaeksena ko. Pero pagdating sa eksena, she’s very nice, nag-uusap kami bago mag-action.
“Nagkukuwentuhan kami, lahat kami nagdya-jibe sa set kaya talagang napakaganda ng casting nito,” say pa ng young actor.
Bukod sa serye, may movie rin sina Kim at Gerald na ipalalabas sa Jan. 27, kaya back to back sila ng Kung Tayo’y Magkakalayo na Jan. 18 ang pilot.
“’Yun nga, dalawang malaking proyekto in one month. First movie of the year din ang Paano Na Kaya. Sobra kaming overwhelmed sa title (banner couple of the year) pero ’yun nga, hindi namin iniisip ’yan, kasi naka-focus kami dito sa work. Thankful lang kami ni Kim sa laki ng tiwala na ibinibigay sa amin ng management kaya talagang hindi namin sla bibiguin lalo na ang mga KImerald na talagang sumusuporta sa amin.”
Sa real score naman sa kanila ni Kim, marami ang kinilig nang sabihin ni Gerald sa ka-loveteam sa The Buzz ang mga katagang “Kung tayo’y magkakalayo, hindi puwede. Hindi lang ako mababaliw, siguro nga, mamamatay ako.”
Pero say ni Gerald, sa ngayon ay ayaw muna niyang pilitin ang mga bagay-bagay tungkol sa kanila ni Kim.
“Kahit kay Kim, ang gusto ko lang ngayon is to be very close to her. Ayoko siyang ma-pressure or kumbaga, pilitin or something. Ang nasa isip ko lang ngayon, I just want to be close to her.”
Nang tanungin si Gerald kung tumitingin pa rin ba siya sa ibang girls, sagot niya, “Hindi ko naman iniisip ang ibang girls unless katrabaho ko. Siyempre, ’pag katrabaho, I’ll do my best na maging close sa kanila. “Pero iba talaga ’yung sa amin ni Kim. Although hindi naman namin pinagbabawalan ang isa’t isa na magka-crush sa iba. Natural lang naman ’yon, hindi natin maiiwasan. Kahit sabihin natin sa mag-asawa, hindi maiiwasan ’yon. Pero siyempre, loyal ka pa rin dapat.”
Kung vocal si Gerald, si Kim, medyo playing safe pa sa kanyang mga sagot tungkol sa real score between them.
“Well, in a way, dahil sa mga sagot niya, and kung paano niya sinasabi at hinaha-handle ’yung sitwasyon, mas nagiging interesting ’yung sitwasyon namin.
“I’m more interested or challenged to get to know her more. Challenge ’yon. It’s good, masarap ’yung feeling na pinaghihirapan mo ang isang bagay, ’di ba? Kesa naman ’yung babae, open na open tungkol sa feelings niya,” pahayag pa ng young actor.
Gerald;May I say that even if you have other leading lady or co-star
in you future projects,you have to DRAW THE LINE in being CLOSE.
Sid Lucero said it best,when he stated,he tries to know his new leading ONLY ON THE SET.NOT OFF WORK and OFF THE SET,cuz that would be
mixing PERSONAL life and WORK life.In a previous article,Sid Lucero
also made a stand about him not allowing to be dragged in the farce issue of being attracted to his leading lady, just to drum up interest for the film or tv projects.He loves and respects his girlfriend very much.
I know you are just as principled as Sid; since you profess your
loyalty to Kim,but so many females are after you; from everywhere, you need to take extra effort to avoid temptations.
Girls might misinterpret your being nice to them,and hope you have a crush on them.Forget about crushes,that is a teenage phase.
You and Kim seem so compatible to be lifetime partners.God bless you both.

I so agree with your comments. Being so close to your other leading ladies might spark a disagreement no matter how friendly your gesture is, coz, girls easily fall for their leading man if they are sweet and thoughtful towards them. AS 8;14 said draw the line between being a leading man and a perrenial partner of kim who is very close to your heart and in our hearts,too, your fans and supporters. Sid Lucero is one of those guys. Same with Derek Ramsay and Albert Martinez. They are young but they know where they stand in their girlfriend's lives and they have very strong convictions. Sid's girlfriend, who is from the Laurel family, have been together for 5 years or more. Derek & Angelica are together for more than 3 years.
Albert Martinez married young, too, but has been very faithful to Leizl, with no issues at all.
I hope Gerald will also be strong and faithful like them while getting older. Please, be one of the few.
may i ask about what Nina Jose said that her and Gerald were MU during the My Girl shooting? Is this true? Gerald pls. answer this as Nina is broadcasting this.
Gerald I agree with 8:14am. Once there is already a commitment wherein you have decided that a relationship will be for keeps,in order to safeguard the relationship, each must really work for it and protect it from probable breakdown. As much as possible do not allow any threat to it to flourish. Being close with other girls is not appropriate if you really want a relationship to last. Being close with other girls can sometimes lead to something which may endanger the relationship. Yes, you can be friends but hanggang diyan lang dapat. As much as possible one should refrain from communicating even on text if nothing official is required lalo na kung may crush factor.
Once committed,nourish your love for each other,build your dreams together and work for it together. Most successful couples live happily because of teamwork,respect, trust,fidelity and love.
