Gerald Anderson on his loyalty to Kim Chiu: ‘Hindi ko na iniisip yung ibang girls’
by Rachelle Siazon ( ABS-CBN.com ) 01.12.10Gerald Anderson has always been vocal about his feelings for Kim Chiu, even confessing on The Buzz last January 3 that he couldn’t imagine a life without Kim by his side. “Kung magkakalayo man kami, mahirap talaga. It’s very hard. Siyempre nangyayari talaga na minsan wala kaming work na magkasama. But if that happens, I’m sure it would be a big adjustment for both of us. Pero mas madalas na magkasama kami so we are just enjoying our moments together on- and off-cam,” he told ABS-CBN.com backstage at ASAP XV last Sunday, January 10.
The young heartthrob further shared that they’ve grown closer in the past year, one of the reasons for the numerous speculations that their relationship is way past the “mutual understanding” stage. “Close naman din kami dati pero ngayon kahit ano sinasabi ko sa kanya and ganun din naman siya sa akin. Tinutulungan niya ako at tinutulungan ko din naman siya. Sa lahat ng bagay ito ha. So we're very caring towards each other. When you reach that level of closeness kasi ibig sabihin talagang malaki yung tiwala ni’yo sa isa't isa and nandudun yung assurance na we'll always be there for each other,” he stressed.
However, Kim remains reserved about her feelings for Gerald since she wants to prioritize career for now. When asked if he ever gets tired of waiting for Kim, Gerald explained that there’s no reason for him to give up either. “Well in a way dahil sa mga sagot niya and kung paano niya sinasabi at hinahandle yung sitwasyon, mas nagiging interesting yung sitwasyon namin. I’m more interested or challenged to get to know her more. Challenge yun. It's good, masarap yung feeling na pinaghihirapan mo ang isang bagay ‘di ba? Kaysa naman yung babae open na open tungkol sa feelings niya.”
Gerald also clarified that he’s not rushing Kim into a serious relationship since she has enough pressure from work already. But the fact that he no longer entertains the thought of pursuing other girls only mean that he considers Kim as someone special in his life. “Hindi ko naman iniisip yung ibang girls, unless katrabaho ko. Siyempre kapag katrabaho, I’ll do my best na maging close sa kanila. Pero iba talaga yung sa amin ni Kim. Although hindi naman namin pinagbabawalan yung isa’t isa na magka-crush sa iba. Natural lang naman yun, Hindi naman natin maiiwasan. Kahit sabihin natin sa mag-asawa hindi maiiwasan yun. Pero siyempre loyal ka pa rin dapat,” he explained.
Though he wasn’t able to spend the past holiday season with her, Gerald shared that he was happy that Kim appreciated the pink bike that he gave her for Christmas. He bought it from the shop of Agot Isidro’s husband Manu Sandejas, the same place where John Lloyd Cruz purchased his mountain bike. “Kasama ko si Matt (Evans) nung binili yun e. Tapos nung pumasok kami ni Matt sa shop at nakita ko yung bike, sabi ko, ‘Wow, ang ganda nito ha, parang bagay kay Kim.’ Tapos gusto ko talagang bilhin so binili ko. Mas nadagdagan ang bonding namin dahil dun. Parang tulad kahapon, nag-shoot kami sa location na malapit lang din sa bahay ko. So nag-bike bike kami dun,” he added.

Ge this is being concern to you and Kim,dont be too close especially sa kaeksena mong opposite gender. We are but human and sometimes hindi natin alam nafafall na tayo. So although you are an actor, please the more you shouldnt be close sa kaseksena mong girls. That is, if you want to safeguard your relationship with Kim. Just do it profesionally, pagkatapos ng take, keep a distance na and communication must be on official matters only.This is a sisterly advise,medyo nauna na kami sa mundo and what we are telling you is based on a lot of observations, readings,seminars and experiences.
At the end of the day(or on the later part of your life, you will realize that after all, a well founded family is what matter most). You will be rearing better children for the next generation who will again be the steward of the next generation and our earth.

I agree with you 6:34 PM, GE if you want your relationship to work out, especially both of you, who are in showbiz, handsome and pretty.Much more for a guy like you, to be always careful with your actions since so many girls have crush on you. With KIM, we know for a girl like her can be trusted, with her values & a prayerful girl you can count on her. Future will come when the two of you will have different projects, surely it will come, always show other girls na kaeksena mo na your taken and be always honest and faithful to her, have an open communication,don't be affected by intrigues, she will be always there for you, knowing the attitude of KIM, she will stick with you till the end.
