Kim and Gerald will either work or date on Valentine's Day

Pagkatapos ng matagumpay na drama series na Sana Maulit Muli, muli na namang mapapanood ang loveteam nina Gerald Anderson at Kim Chiu sa bagong show ng ABS-CBN, ang Maligno. This time ay horror naman ang tema ng kanilang programa, kung saan makakasama nila ang nagbabalik na si Claudine Barretto at si Diether Ocampo.

Nakausap ng PEP (Philippine Entertainment Portal) sina Gerald at Kim noong January 13 sa birthday celebration ni Melissa Ricks na ginanap sa Packo's Grill, Quezon City.Sa Maligno ay gumaganap bilang TV reporter si Kim at si Gerald, siyempre, ang partner niya.

Sa America nag-celebrate ng nakaraang Pasko at Bagong Taon si Gerald kasama ang kanyang buong pamilya, habang si Kim ay nasa kanyang hometown sa Cebu. Ano ba ang regalo nina Kim at Gerald sa isa't isa noong nakaraang Pasko? "Camera po ang ibinigay ko sa kanya," sabi ni Kim.

Sagot naman ni Gerald, "Ang ibinigay ko naman sa kanya, isang special DVD player na mukhang PSP. At isang electronic picture frame."

Ngayong nalalapit na Valentine's day ba ay may plano silang mag-date?

"Hindi ko po alam kung kami ang magkakasama, e," sagot ni Kim. "Baka po kasi may trabaho ako ng araw na 'yon. Pero kung wala po, at wala ring trabaho si Gerald at yayayain niya ako na lumabas kami, why not, di ba?"

Ayon naman kay Gerald, "Wala pa akong plano sa Valentine's. Pero kung sakaling wala kaming work ni Kim, i-invite ko na lang siya na lumabas kami, di ba?"

Ano ang balak nilang ibigay sa isa't isa ngayong Valentine's? Sabi ni Kim, "Hindi ko pa po iniisip kung ano ang ibibigay ko sa kanya. Para po kasi sa akin, wala naman po masyadong special sa araw na yun. Para lang po yung ordinary day."

Sagot naman ni Gerald, "Siyempre, may gift ako sa kanya. Pero secret muna kung ano yun. Sa Valentine's ko na lang ibibigay sa kanya para surprise."

Memorable Teleserye Stars of 2007

Television viewers are bombarded with numerous shows year in and year out. And once in a while we are given characters that are so memorable that they become part of our everyday lives.

We follow their adventures and anticipate every twist and turn they encounter. We get excited when something new happens to them. We cry with them when tragedy strikes. We're happy for them when good fortune smiles. But in the end, what matters is the satisfaction of watching their lives unfold before our eyes.

We look at the stars and their television characters of the past year. They are the stars who left an indelible mark with the characters they portrayed and left us longing for them to be part again of our daily viewing habit.
Kim Chiu and Gerald Anderson (Sana Maulit Muli)

The love team that people followed right after their debut in the hit show, Pinoy Big Brother Teen Edition, Kim and Gerald were finally given a mini-series of their own. And both did not disappoint their fans when Sana Maulit Muli premiered at the start of 2007.

Childhood friends Jasmine ‘Poknat' Sta. Maria (Kim Chiu) and Travis ‘Bokbok' Johnson (Gerald Anderson) promise to write each other as they get separated upon their arrival in Manila. But fate intervenes and they struggle to have their destinies spun together. Time travel allows Travis to correct things and make their relationship work out for the better. In the end, Poknat and Bokbok end up together.

Kim and Gerald were later rewarded with a movie I've Fallen for You, which was directed by Lino Cayetano, and shows in ABS-CBN like Gokada Go and Love Spell presents Cindy-rella. "Kimerald" fans have something to be giddy about as more shows are being lined up for them in 2008. <
