Kimerald starts shooting new movie

Fans of the Kimerald (Kim Chiu-Gerald Anderson) love team will witness a more daring tandem as they gear up for their comeback on the big screen.

Kim and Gerald topbilled the recently concluded teleserye "Tayong Dalawa" that became one of the top rating shows in ABS-CBN, doubling the pressure for the two.

“This is something new. But we will do everything here in our first day," Gerald said.

When asked whether they can perform better than they did in Tayong Dalawa, which had intense kissing scenes, Kim said: "We are still internalizing our characters because it has not yet sunk in. Because from Tayong Dalawa, it was heavy. Now it's very light."

Recently, buzz was loud that the Kimerald tandem will rest for a while and Gerald will be paired with Sarah Geronimo.

But there upcoming movie proves that the tandem is not set to break up any time soon.

"This is our movie, we don't know what will happen in the near future. Basta, we will put all our focus here. This is just our first day. Many exciting things will still happen in this movie," Gerald said.

They are also set to do a new primetime series "Kung Tayo'y Magkakalayo."

In comparison to their previous films, Gerald said: “Our first movie, First Day High, from the title itself, it's really for the young! And then I've Fallen For You, our solo movie, that was a bit tweetums, a happy, nakakakilig na movie. In this movie, This is really nakakakilig but the drama is still there.”

Kim added that the movie will first make the audience excited then there will be drama towards the end.

“I'm hoping that our good and chemistry and working relationship as a love team will make perform to the the expectation of Kimerald fans,” Kim said.

Kim and Gerald were seen in the Bench Fashion Show last Sunday for the Philippine Fashion Week in SMX Convention Center.
