Gerald is truly a hero . What so admirable is that it's the ordinary peple/ neighbeor who have reportend the heroic things he dia and was posted on the internet. This kid is so humble and instead of praising himself and bragging what he did he complements and give accolades to other people . I'm so proud of him being a fan and any mother would be proud to have a son like him. He never once thought about himself as a movie star but just a neighber who's main concern is to hlep those who are in need regardles of the danger that he's putting himself. He truly deserves to be called as such and kudos to all those who lend yheir hand in times of need by our kababayans. I love you Gerald and may God continueto shower with His blessings and stay humble ok and don't forget to take care of Kim coz we love her so much too. God bless you both.

The most astounding thing was Cesar 'Buboy' Montano didn't even know it was Gerald he was working with saving lives at the height of Typhoon Ondoy in Vista Real...I guess, Gerald, knew Buboy but didn't bother telling him who he was.

It was only when Buboy was interviewed regarding his rescue efforts that he learned and said, "Oh, was that Gerald? I didn't know."

The neighbor Lady Doctor who posted her gratitude to Gerald via Facebook spoke of her deep esteem and admiration for Gerald for helping out the people in his neighborhood including herself and her children; people he didn't even know but whom he felt needed help.

Gerald brought in Buboy and Bayani to her Lady Doctor's house when he returned to her; going over her fence through dirty floodwaters to assure her of help also for her stricken brother who was with his family in another area succeeding in getting real help for them.


Gerald, we know you downplayed your role in helping your neighbors swimming through dangerous floodwaters; checking on them; getting them out of harm's way; we, your fans thank you for being who and what you are--a good help when times are tough; continue the good work and I together with the millions of your fans only have the best wishes for you in your life, your career, your family and your ladylove, Kim!
