Kim Chiu admits she was uneasy about her role in ‘I Love You, Goodbye’

Kim Chiu experienced many career firsts with the movie I Love You, Goodbye. This is her first major project without her love team partner Gerald Anderson which she confessed made her a bit worried when she was first told about the film. “First time na wala si Gerald kaya nakakapanibago.

However, Kim was able to find a new friend as she got to work for the first time with Angelica Panganiban. The 19-year-old teen idol added that she had a great time on the set with Angelica and the latter’s real-life boyfriend Derek Ramsay. Kim also described co-star Gabby Concepcion, who plays her father in the movie, as very “cool.”

Fans of Kim will see a different side of her in this Star Cinema entry for the Metro Manila Film Festival. Kim plays an envious and possessive girl who abhors Angelica’s character who becomes her dad’s girlfriend. The young actress admitted that she was hesitant at first about accepting the role.

Kim said she is very proud of being a part of I Love You, Goodbye, which she described as a movie that everyone can appreciate. Mararamdaman nila ‘yung pagmamahal ng father and daughter, between two lovers.

I Love You Goodbye will premiere nationwide on December 25. International screenings are also scheduled from January 1 to 7 at Micronesia Mall, Guam and at the UA Stonestown Twin, San Francisco, USA.
