Star Magic in 2009 MMFF

Star Magic artists are appearing in various 2009 Metro Manila Film Festival entries.

In “Regal's Mano Po 6: My Mother’s Love,” John Manalo and Nicole Uysiuseng play two of Sharon Cuneta's kids, while Eda Nolan plays the young Boots Anson Roa.

In RVQ Productions and Kaizz Ventures’ “Nobody, Nobody But Juan,” Pokwang is the childhood friend of Dolphy, Gloria Romero and Eddie Garcia.

In Regal’s “Shake, Rattle and Roll XI,” Rayver Cruz and Bangs Garcia play campers who end up being harrassed by a lamang lupa in “Lamang Lupa.” Maja Salvador plays the lead character of a possessed girl while Joem Bascon is a seminarian in “Diablo.” And Megan Young plays a ghost who inhabits a haunted gown and John Lapus plays Ruffa Gutierrez' designer who is eaten by Megan in “Ukay-Ukay.”

In M-Zet's “Darling Kong Aswang,” Rafael Rosell plays the lead aswang, Empress Schuck is the aswang daughter of Jean Garcia while child star Mika de la Cruz plays Vic Sotto's daughter. In “Wapakman,” John Manalo, Jairus Aquino, Mica Roi Torre and Kyle Balili are Manny Pacquiao and Rufa Mae Quito’s children. In Star Cinema's “I Love You, Goodbye” stars Gabby Concepcion, Angelica Panganiban, Kim Chiu, Ketchup Eusebio and Joem Bascon.
