hay naku!...Sarah did a teleserye before (bituing walang ningning) ata ung title...but hindi ito tumatak, I mean if you could compare the hatak that tayong dalawa did, wala ung teleserye ni sarah...Come to think of it, how tayong dalawa did help ABS-CBN to become number 1 again,(even it's hard to accept, here in MEGA manila, GMA was number 1 before, but in other parts of the country ABS-CBN is still number1). And also, Kim is consistent in acting, Sarah is into singing. Sana, wag namang gamitin ang KIMERALD for publicity purposes, we dunno who started this fire between Kimerald's fans and Sarah's fans. I don't want to sound mean or anything and I'm not really from the Philippines so I wouldn't know if my opinion's right.. but I think John Lloyd also had a huge impact in that said Box Office movie. If I was in the Philippines, I wouldn't have watched it if it wasn't for John Lloyd.

I noticed in all my readings of the Sarah/Kim issue that, in fact, there is really NO ISSUE.

I busted my gut at PEP telling people Kris A.'s parameters: No. 1 Teleserye Princess in the 18-20 age bracket, pero walang nakinig sa aking rational approach. So, pinipilit talagang magkaissue, kahit wala!

Kim is at the top of the heap right now--judging from the angry reaction of millions of Kim's fans in the death of her TD character Audrey.

Understandably, Kris A., who is a highly intelligent and very discerning showbiz newshen and actress sees Kim's dominance together with Gerald in the Teleserye market--all their pairings toppled the competition --and made the right choice of being in a teleserye with the Hottest Loveteam of Phil. Showbizlandia today--the Kimerald!

Understandably ,too, the paid publicists of network/ studio wanting their talents to be up there with Kim and Gerald spin their tales to create a stir, hopefully, the ripples will get the fans going.

One example, we saw Aljur matched with Gerald - in so many articles--remember the Cosmo Bash antics;etc. The articles died down a bit when
the Aljur/Kris movie bombed at the tills. Then it revived at the Philippine Fashion Week. There is really no comparison but there is an attempt to strike one.

Now we see the same tactic being employed with t SG and Kim-- pinagpilitan magkaissue when there is really no issue.

It seems the SG fans are sufficiently stirred up and riled up against Kim now.

The paid publicists can now fan themselves, sit back and relax and hope that their created rivalry will give their "manok" some noise and the studio will see their money wisely spent.

Sadly, for them, we ,Kimerald fans are on to their tricks and we are too smart to be dragged into the mud and be used to "up the ante" of their talent in the very valuable teleserye circuit.

Focus lang din kami kina Kim and Gerald in our support of their movies/teles and projects which am so sure Kim and Gerald ay ganoon din --, focused in giving everyone a good treat from their work.

So, Kimeralds, agree tayo na hindi tayo magpapagamit sa the likes of Alfie L., Pete A., the Juicy chatter etc.

Accent the positive tayo with our much loved Kim and Gerald! Kim and Gerald! I know am as guilty as anyone here. I also got into the fray.

This time I'm wiser. I will not be used. I will even turn my other cheek. I will keep my peace. I will not give them a chance to squeeze apologies from Kim and/or Gerald. I will just let them spew their fire. Pretty soon they will realize too that they have also been used or run out of steam/fire/gas whichever comes first.

i can't remember if it was on SNN or The Buzz, but Kris explained why Kimerald's will be the banner movie of Star Cinema come 2010. If i remember it correctly, Kris said that it's purely economics for ABS. why? because they know for a fact that a project with kim and gerald on it has always brought in numbers, and numbers mean money. i am also a fan of sarah because of her singing prowess, but acting-wise, i can't say that her movies (e.g. the ones w/jlc) are feel-good movies with "kilig' and chemistry all thrown in. when i watched her and jlc, i knew i was watching a movie --- a by-product of a movie outfit + a good director + a good supporting cast + a humongous budget. i agree with anonymous 11:44, JLC also has a very big impact on their movies being box-office hits. in fact, a lot of people i've talked with watched the 2 movies because of lloydie, not sarah. it is an altogether different experience with kim and gerald. they have this natural chemistry that's very obvious to everyone around them, albeit their own obliviousness to it, that manifests on and off cam. i am pointing this out, without the intention of making the issue bigger than it already is, but to make some people understand why kris declared kim to be the #1 actress in her age-bracket. i respect ms. aquino because in all the years that she's been in showbiz, she has been known to be "taklesa", "prangka", but never has she been known to lie.
