Gerald Anderson, showbiz’s newest action star
MJ Felipe ( ABS-CBN Interactive ) 07.27.09Sabay si Coco Martin at Gerald Anderson na nag-first taping day para sa Agimat. Si Gerald ang gaganap sa episode na "Tiagong Akyat." Excited din si Gerald sa proyektong ito dahil kung sa Tayong Dalawa ay aksyon at drama ang kanyang ginagawa, dito daw ay talagang maipapakita niya ang kanyang pagiging action star dahil sa tindi ng mga stunts na kaniyang gagawin. Una na ngang napabalita na nag-Parkour training pa daw ito.
Ang Parkour ay isa mga makabagong sport na kung saan ang mga tao ay tumatakbo at tumatalon mula sa mga bubong at sa mga pader. Ang iba ay nagsasabing isa itong uri ng exercise, pero sa ilan, ito ay isang sport na kinakailangan ng matinding ensayo at upper body strength para makatawid at makaakyat sa mga pader. Ilang pelikula na rin sa Hollywood ang gumagamit ng Parkour tulad ng Bourne Ultimatum kasama si Matt Damon, at ngayon nga si Gerald Anderson naman ang susubok nito sa local TV scene. "Grabe ang training namin. Nung minsan, nagpunta kami sa may Luneta, tapos doon kami nag-try. Tumatalon kami sa pader doon. Mahirap siya talagang kailangan malakas ang upper body strength mo." kuwento ni Gerald. Pinakita pa niya sa amin ang video na nakunan na tumatalon siya sa isang pader. "Noong una, wala pa ngang tao. Kami-kami lang. Pero pinaalis na rin kami ng guard noong medyo madami nang taong dumating at nanood. Kailangan galingan ko kasi marami ngang nanunuod." dagdag pa nito. Sa tindi ng mga eksena ng parkour, ‘di ba siya nagkagalos? "Meron pero konti lang naman. Kaya naman siya."
Parang unti-unti nang nagiging "action star" ang linya ni Gerald, nararamdaman ba niya ito? "Medyo, medyo. Pero gusto ko pa rin yun (medyo kilig at loveteam) kasi yun ang gusto ng mga fans. Saka gusto ko rin namang sundan ang yapak nila Piolo Pascual, John Lloyd Cruz, sina Robina Padilla, si Senator Bong (Revilla) at si Ramon (Revilla) Sr. Lahat naman sila, I wanna follow their footsteps." Pero nararamdaman din ba niya na unti-unti nang nagmamature ang mga roles na binibigay sa kanya? "Oo medyo. Siyempre, it comes with age. Medyo tumatanda din tayo kaya nagma-mature din ang mga roles."
At speaking of mature roles, di man daw niya napapanood pa sa TV, pero nakarating na raw sa kanya ang maganda at impressive na pagganap ni Kim bilang si Dolzura Cortez sa ginanap na Vilma Workshop sa Dolphy Theater. Masayang-masaya daw si Gerald para sa kanyang kaloveteam, at kung nagwoworry daw ang mga fans na magkakaroon na sila ng mga solo projects, wag daw sila masyadong mainip dahil magbabalik tambalan naman daw sila ulit after lang ng Tayong Dalawa. May movie na raw na nakalinya para sa kanila at tiyak na ikatutuwa daw ito ng mga fans.
they better have a movie together but im proud of kim and gerald for their achievements :)
Dapat ang movie na yan sila Kim and Gerald (kimerald) ang lead role upang talagang masaya kaming mga fans!!!!

Were all happy to hear that, and we know both of you are doing a good job, inspite of different projects, please ayaw namin magkahiwalay kayo, but what makes us happy is to see both of you together in the MOVIE. What a transformation talaga sa mga idol ko. They've grown into these beautiful and talented duo. I'm so glad to hear that after Tayong Dalawa you'll have a movie together.I will support you no matter what dahil alam kong kahit may itambal sa inyong iba (nature yan nang trabaho ninyo)pag wala na kayo sa harap nang kamera kayo paring dalawa. To Gerald and Kim please don't ever changa at sana very soon ipagsisigawan na ninyo na kayo na talaga. God bless you both on your careers and your love for each grow stronger each day. It is sad to hear from fans like me not supporting KIM and GERALD on their solo projects.Ako bilang bagong tagahanga I will support them together or hiwalay kasi hangad ko ang magtagumpay silang dalawa.
