Gerald is very willing to become Kim’s boyfriend

Gerald Anderson revealed that he’s more than ready to make love team partner Kim Chiu his real life girlfriend. When host Luis Manzano asked him in the January 3 episode of Entertainment Live how long it would take for him and Kim to get together for real, the Fil-Am actor answered, “Hindi naman ako dapat tanungin n’yo dun eh, dapat si Kim. I’m ready anytime.”

He emphasized that he has been ready since last year but he has yet to wait for Kim’s go signal. “Pero I’m pressuring nobody. Hindi ko siya (Kim) pine-pressure. I’m just here to wait,” Gerald clarified.

He also revealed that he no longer felt jealous over guys who have been linked to Kim, like Enchong Dee and Robi Domingo. Gerald said that the jealousy went away when he and Kim spent the Christmas together. “Ngayon wala na [jealousy]. After Christmas wala na, kasi we spent Christmas together,” shared Gerald.

Gerald also clarified the issue of Kim denying his claim that they have a mutual understanding or MU. “After the interview [where she denied our mutual understanding], she texted me to say, ‘Uy sorry ha.’ It is nothing really bad. Baka nasabi lang or nabigla [lang niya kaya niya ‘yun nasabi],” Gerald explained. Kim had pointed out that she was not denying the relationship, but clarifying its duration.

Now that a new year has started, Gerald said that he would rather leave the bad things that happened in 2008 behind him. “With all the good things that happened sa amin ni Kim, there were bad things also,” he confessed. He added that 2009 started out good for him, thanks to the upcoming soap opera Tayong Dalawa with Kim and Jake Cuenca. “I’m praying that it will be a very big hit and sana mas maraming projects pa. We’re praying everyday for that,” he shared.Tayong Dalawa premieres January 19 on ABS-CBN’s Primetime Bida.
