Career fear of Kim and Gerald
( Sun Star Manila ) 06.07.09Both Kim Chiu and Gerald Anderson said they will be deeply sad if they will be paired with other artists in future projects.
As perennial love-team for three years, Cebuana beauty Kim and Fil-Am heartthrob from Davao Gerald mutually said the idea of having individual career moves somewhat bothers them.
“I will be greatly hurt. We have been working together for three years. Kim is the first woman I worked with in showbiz so, of course, if we will be paired with other artists, it really hurts,” Gerald said in the vernacular.
“I will be sad also because I don’t know what to do without him. I am used to have him beside me. If there is Kim, there is always Gerald,” Kim said.
The love-team break-up started when Kim accepted a movie project without Gerald. The latter will also do a movie with Sarah Geronimo.
Gerald has yet to confirm the said movie but he said he is willing to work with Sarah if ever. “I’m open to it. It’s very overwhelming, it’s flattering but I think she (Sarah) is very busy right now.”
Although the Primetime Prince and Princess were worried should they take separate careers, they held that their support for each other will always remain.
“(Working separately) is actually good also. For Kim, if she will have many projects without me on her side it will be good because that would be the time people will see how well she acts. I want everybody to see that (Kim is a good actress),” Gerald said.
But KimErald fans should not be worried because as per ABS-CBN management, Kim and Gerald’s team-up will prolong. Aside from the extended airing of “Tayong Dalawa,” they will also be doing a movie project with Kris Aquino.
Relationship status
In three years of being together, Kim and Gerald have been asked about the status of their relationship.
Gerald candidly said they already went beyond mutual understanding or MU. “I want to say that we are way beyond MU but the only thing that lacks is commitment.”
Kim said that she is not yet ready to have a serious and committed relationship with Gerald. “I am happy with the relationship we have now but yes we have no commitment yet…If he is willing to wait (that would be good),” the actress said in the vernacular.
The young actress added that Gerald has a special space in her heart.
Just like in real life, Kim and Gerald also have confusing affairs in the top-rating series “Tayong Dalawa.” Kim remains to be torn between Jake Cuenca and Gerald, and none of them know whom the pretty actress will end up with.
“I know that Kimerald will be sad if me and Gerald will not end up together, but I really do not know where our script will head us,” Kim said. “Tayong Dalawa has a lot of twists which are really surprising,” she ended. (Jill Beltran/Sunnex)
I think a Kimerald movie would stand on its own as shown by I've fallen for you, esp. now with their improved acting skills due to tayong dalawa. Would they be supporting Ms Kris or the other way around? Sana a moderate romantic comedy for them would be a fitting follow up movie. More years ahead for them as a love team plsss, for theirs is THE only certified love team for now. No experimenting with other artists just yet.. very wholesome and totally role models for the youth.
pls for their movie, it should be kim and gerald onlyfor the starring role and not using them to support someone else.
The perfect love story for Kimerald is like...Body Guard.. Philippine style... 'yong tipong ipaglaban ni Ge si Kim kahit ikamamatay niya pero hwag namang totohaning mamatay!!! I really appreciate at hindi ko malimutan ang scene ng Sana Maulit Muli na hinarang ni Ge ang bus upang mailigtas si Kim sa bingit ng kamatayan...Hay!!! Pero dito sa Tayong Dalawa...I can't understand kung sino ang tayong dalawa...Si Kim and Gerald ba o si Kim and Dave o si Gerald and Dave...Oh... Direct.. natauhan ka na?
