Gerald refuses to comment Pauleen ; focuses on Kim

Gerald Anderson can’t seem to hide his excitement when asked about his new project, Tayong Dalawa. Shot in the cold and romantic BaguioCity, sinabi ni Gerald na talagang inaral nila ang lahat ng mga kilos at pati na rin ang pananalita ng mga kadete sa Philippine Military Academy where they spent taping some episodes for five days. “Sobrang lamig sa Baguio, grabe. Gaya ng sabi ni Direk Ruel (Bayani) kanina, na-pack up ‘yung shower scene namin dahil sa sobrang lamig ng temperature sa Baguio. Kung natuloy ‘yun, malamang lahat kami ay may sakit ngayon.”

Gerald also admits at first, he felt pressure on his part, having had to work with such award winning actors like Gina Pareno, Anita Linda, Alessandra De Rossi, Mylene Dizon, Helen Gamboa and Baron Geisler to name a few. “Noong story con nga, naramdaman namin ni Jake na, ano ba ‘to, parang curse kasi ito ang ibinigay sa amin. Nag-usap kami ni Jake, na paano ba namin gagawin ito? Pero after a couple of weeks, wow, I guess ito ang masasabikong pinakamagandang nangyari sa career namin.”

When ABS-CBN.com asked Gerald how he spent the holidays, we saw that little boy’s smile on his face while mentioning that he made sure it was special for rumored girlfriend and Tayong Dalawa co-star Kim Chui. Gerald and Kim spent Christmas Eve together with family and friends at Kim’s home. “Sa bahay kami nila nag-Pasko with our friends and it was really fun. Nandoon ako sa bahay nila nag-Noche Buena. Noong New Year naman, nasa Gen San (GeneralSantosCity) ako.” To this day, whenever this heartthrob is being asked about his feelings for Kim, he would just say his on screen partner is special to him. Walang specific label. Again, tinanong ng ABS-CBN.com si Gerald kung ano ang status nila ni Kim? “Ganoon pa rin. We’re okay,” matipid nitong sagot. Gerald though is yet to give Kim his Christmas gift, he hasn’t purchased anything. “Wala pa eh, hindi pa nakakarating,” nakangiting sagot niya. Secret pa daw ito. “Ayoko munang sabihin, baka mabasa ni Kim, eh. Saka ko na lang sasabihin ‘pag nandiyan na,” Gerald adds.

Isa pang kontrobersiyang tanong ng ABS-CBN.com kay Gerald ay tungkol sa isyu nila ni Pauleen Luna. Much as we all want to hear Gerald’s side, the actor politely refused to give comments regarding Pauleen para hindi na lumaki ang usaping ito. “Wala na po akong sasabihin tungkol doon, 2008 pa ‘yun. 2009 na ngayon. Kung gusto nilang pag-usapan pa rin ‘yun, sila na lang.” May ilan pang katanungan asked about Pauleen but he just refused over again to answer.
