Cherry Pie all praises for Jake, Kim and Gerald

Award winning actress Cherry Pie Picache praised young stars Jake Cuenca, Kim Chiu and Gerald Anderson for their professionalism and eagerness to learn more about acting.

Picache who is part of ABS-CBN's upcoming television series "Tayong Dalawa" said that she and the three young stars worked as a team to make a great show.

"Yung eagerness and the passion to learn at saka yung attitude towards work, kahit pagod na pagod na yung mga bata... ay sige pa din," the actress said.

She is also happy that the young stars, most especially young actor Anderson, listen to an experienced actress like her.

"Si Gerald yung sa eksena, hindi ba yung tulungan kayo. Mabuti sa mga bata kasi nakikinig. So masaya, masaya kami doon," she said.

Anderson plays the character of a poor young man, David Santos. He is Picache's son in the series.

The actress said that the young stars also learned and honed their skills from workshops done for their show.

"Before kasi nag-taping kami ay nag-workshop kami. So I think that helps very much to be comfortable with your co-actor," she said.

Picache is also part of KC Concepcion and Richard Gutierrez's second movie together. She said that she is still wishing for more projects.

In 2009, the actress said she will continue to support the independent movie industry, and will be very busy with "Tayong Dalawa" that will be air soon on ABS-CBN.
