Gerald is excited to go furniture-hunting with Kim

The last time ABS-CBN.com caught up with Gerald Anderson, he still hadn’t moved into his newly built three-story house where he had planned to celebrate his birthday with his family and some close friends this month. “I am doing good. I am very happy with all the celebrations organized by StarStudio and then Star Magic. On the day itself (March 7) kasi I was at work, nasa Cebu ako nun. So wala pang official na para sa amin lang. I wanted to have a dinner party sana in my new house kapag nakalipat na ako. Yes, of course, Kim’s (Chiu) going to be there with my family and friends. Hindi pa natuloy yung paglipat ko dati kasi may mga retouches-retouches pa,” he told ABS-CBN.com in a recent interview.

Gerald further shared that his house isn’t fully furnished yet and he is still saving up for that particular expense. He can scratch a refrigerator off his list though since Kim has already given him a one for his birthday. “I was really overwhelmed. Nagulat ako kasi gosh ang laki talaga eh. I feel touched nung binigay niya yun. Sabi ko nga sa kanya huwag nang magregalo ng mamahaling gift tapos biglang ‘eto na lumabas. I don’t know. But I am happy she did it. Though ayoko sanang gumastos pa siya ng malaki. Pero para kay Kim bale wala lang yun sa dami-dami ng commercials niya ngayon,” he says with a laugh.

Apparently, Kim has promised to help her Tayong Dalawa co-star design the interior of his house once construction is complete. “Yung bahay ko modern look siya eh, puro salamin. Si Kim pa lang yung nakapunta dun pero ‘di siya tapos at the time. Natuwa siya kasi nung nakita niya nag-isip rin siya na bumili ng bahay. Actually tutulong siya sa akin maghanap ng furniture kapag natapos na yung finishing touches. Napagkasunduan namin na tutulong siya sa akin,” he reveals.

With the way things are going between them, it wouldn’t be hard for these two to take their relationship to the next level since their parents seem to approve their tandem on and off screen as well. “Wala namang taong hindi magkakagusto kay Kim dahil she’s really nice and sweet so hindi ako nagulat nung sinabi ng mom ko na boto siya kay Kim because she’s really close with me and my mom. Kahit yung dad ko okay sila so I am glad,” he states.
