Kim Chiu reveals plans of having her own house this year

With Gerald Anderson’s new house underway, onscreen partner Kim Chiu revealed on Showbiz News Ngayon yesterday that she is already planning to build her own home within this year.

“Nagpa-plan na ako. American (style with) two storeys. Kasi kay Gerald walang roof, ‘yung sa akin may roof para babaeng-babae,” she shared. Kim said that after she visited Gerald twice at his new home, she resolved that she’d have one of her own soon. “Oo nainggit nga ako sa kanya (Gerald). Kaya sabi ko, ‘Bilisan na natin ganyan-ganyan.’ Ayun, nainggit ako may bahay na siya para ako din magkabahay na,” Kim confessed. The chinita actress said that she is hiring the services of a different architect from that of Gerald’s for her two-storey dream house.

Meanwhile, Kim denied rumors claiming that she did not attend Gerald’s surprise birthday party on purpose. It just so happened that she was shooting a commercial at that time. “Kasi biglaan ang surprise birthday party para sa kanya,” explained Kim. “Naka-schedule ako para sa commercial (shoot).” She related that when she finished shooting at two in the morning, she asked Gerald if she could still catch up, but was told that their friends have already gone home. Kim said that she has not given her leading man her gift yet since his real birthday won’t be until this Saturday (March 7). She said that she has not yet bought her present but she’s making sure that Gerald would like it.
