I feel sad for Gerald, come to think of it mukhang magtatagumpay ang mga fans na gawing flop ang Agimat... just look at the Multiply site of Agimat, ang tagal na nun pero hanggang ngayon nilalangaw. Mas marami pang nagco-comment kila Jason Abalos at Max Eigenmann, kahit si Joseph Bitangcol meron, pero sa pictures ni Gerald , zero as in "zero". My God, sa'n kaya pupulutin 'to next time.

Anong magagawa ni Kim kung talagang ganun ang bone structure niya... sobra naman yung mga detractors na yan! Pintas nang pintas. Inggit lang sila kay Kim!

Expect the following things to happen in the coming days:

1. The first installment of Agimat was a big disappointment in the ratings game because of the fans refusal to support Gerald without Kim.

2. Elias Paniki became the most successful in the Agimat series, opening a far wider opportunity for Jake Cuenca to be the next big action star.

3. Because of the sad fate of Tiagong Akyat, management decides to give Gerald a much needed rest while "cooking" (kuno) a new project for him.

4. The said project turned out to be a "support role" for Enchong Dee in his first ever solo project.

5. Kim Chiu did fairly well in her movie with Angelica, so-so in the box office but critically acclaimed for her excellent performance.

6. The Enchong Dee project didn't do well as expected and the suppose "stardom" contribution of Gerald Anderson has began to lose its shine.

7. Because of the success of Jake Cuenca and the brilliant acting prowess of Kim Chiu, management decides to pair them instead while Gerald continues to be guesting on different kapamilya shows and taking supporting roles for other kapamilya starlets.

8. The Kim Chiu-Jake Cuenca tandem became an instant success springing a whole new and entirely different fanbase here and there mostly avid viewers who have seen their potential since Tayong Dalawa.

9. Gerald Anderson's career began to wane down in the Kapamilya network so he decided to move to GMA.

10. And that, my dear friends , is the sad fate of the once unbeatable "Kimerald" loveteam. Goodluck!

After 3 years of being together in almost all their projects, I think ABS-CBN is gauging the interest of the people as to how many is more "maka-Gerald" and how many is "maka-Kim". I mean after all those years they probably win some and lose some fans. The question is who tips the balance? Obviously noon Kim has more fans kaya nga siya Big Winner ng PBBTE diba? Pero ngayon, meron na bang pagbabago? Ganun pa rin ba kasi puro si Kim lang ang may commercials. Is Gerald continuously living under her shadow? Can he stand alone? They can never be just a loveteam forever kaya as early as now they want to know who is worth keeping and who they should trash out. If no one supports either one of them individually, that just opens the possibility that we may never see them together again in the future. Just an opinion.

I think the commentor up there who made a forecast is just making a point. I don't think she is a Jake fan, she is just pointing out the possibility that those things could happen if no one is going to support Gerald in Agimat. Who else could make it among the four if not Gerald? Sure ako si Jake yan. Kaya kung hindi man maging successful ang Tiyagong Akyat, let's make sure na kahit the most successful among the four series na lang. Payag ba kayo na maungusan ni Jake si Gerald? Nangyayari na nga yan minsan sa Tayong Dalawa, hahayaan pa ba natin yan sa Agimat? Maawa naman tayo kay Gerald, I don't think he deserves it. Naiiyak tuloy ako.

Are you familiar with the very credible and noted movie critic Nestor Torre who writes a daily column in the Inquirer?

If you are and if you read his critique of Tayong Dalawa --Nestor Torre was very emphatic in his praises for the acting prowess of Gerald
over your favored Jake.

Not to mention Christoper de Leon who counted Gerald as one of his 4 favorite actors (Piolo, John Lloyd and Jericho being the other three). If I remember correctly he said Gerald has "...intensity...has passion...has the flair and knows how to use his eyes". This is Christopher de Leon, multiawarded actor and garnered his first Famas award from his first acting role.

Remember Agimat will be shown all over the Phil. and worldwide too and sorry to dissappoint you but a number of Kim and Gerald's fans are looking forward to watching him play solo and of course watching Kim play solo too and more with each other.

If this is wishful thinking on your part...only time will tell.

I will be the first to congratulate you if your prediction will prove true...but we have a discerning public and in fairness, Gerald loves action roles and has really trained for this one...I am sure Gerald's Agimat will rate...and sorry to dissappoint you further there is already a movie and a teleserye readied for Kim and Gerald; this from Gerald and Kim themselves.

Am not saying Jake is not good but why fix something that is not broken...remember too Guillermo Mendoza Foundation has awarded Kim and Gerald the Most Popular Love Team for the past three years! Indeed, to reiterate, why fix something that is not broken!

i could see Gerald if given the right role-drama or action- FPJ/Chistopher de leon & comedy could be Dolphy. He is so natural and no gimmick.
I wish him well and I will support Tiagong Akyat.

I Love them both and even if it hurts me that they are not together in either Agimat or I Love You Goodbye, i will still be supporting them because it will sadden me more if any of them will fail.

I will just be contented to know that they still find time to be together outside of these tapings. Let us remember that they were together when they visited the wake of former President Cory and okay na rin yun for me. =))

Nag-ugat ang separation isuue from the plan of Viva na kunin si Gerald para makapareha ni SG. Ang manager ni SG ay ang boss sa Viva. The manager wants the best for SG kaya nga tinanggihan ang movie with Rayver. Itong mga separate projects ni Kim and Gerald, start na yan. Next year ang plan ng Viva and SC sa movie. And huwag naman sana na ipareha din sila sa teleserye dahil kapag nangyari ito, masisira ang araw ko everyday. Malakas ang manager ni SG sa abs. Una si JLC ang kinuha nila for SG's partner, ngayon si Gerald naman ang gusto nila. Pansinin ninyo, gusto nilang nakakapareha ng alaga nila ay yung may ka-loveteam. At hindi lang basta loveteam lovete-man kung, kung hindi super sikat na loveteam. Parang challenge ito on their part eh kaya ginagawa nila ang ganyan na kunin ang guy from the super sikat na loveteam, yan ang opinion ko.

Ummmm. I wish someone can enlighten me. I still have to be really convinced why ABS chooses Sarah to pair up with Gerald in a movie vs Kim at this point in time when Kim is at the height of her earth dizzying popularity with Gerald judging from the TD ratings the only ABS teleserye there is that toppled the other network's even within Mega Manila and Urban Luzon --both GMA turfs--. And don't tell me this is Jake or Coco or the old vets, their combination were there before and they did not do it...remember Alyas Palos or Ligaw na Bulaklak or Natutulog ba ang Diyos, etc.

We have consistent topraters in Kim and Gerald pairings -- starting from LoveSpell, Your Song, MMK, Sana Maulit Muli, My Girl, My Only Hope...again enlighten me why change the winning combination at this point in time?
